Primary responsibilities include administering the Commercial loan portfolio, including loan closings, renewals, documentation and review.
BNC National Bank Mortgage Division is an established nationwide direct lender looking for experienced Mortgage Loan Originators to add to its growing team in the Southwest Missouri / Springfield Region. Ideal candidates will have an existing book of business and a developed referral partner base that will benefit from our service oriented and sales driven culture. Originate and manage a pipeline of loan applications and close an acceptable volume of quality loans. To accomplish these results you will engage in the following activities on a regular basis:
Execute consultative sales strategies to drive exceptional service and create trusted relationships
This position requires a minimum of 06-24 months of mortgage lending experience. This position is responsible for completion of HMDA data input and government reporting as required. Assist in assuring that the company has a sound system of internal controls for an optimum level of compliance. This position will monitor, track, review and upload cancelled, and denied paperwork. This position requires above average organizational and critical thinking skills, as well as acute attention to detail. The candidate will learn and maintain an above average working knowledge of all loan types, documents, and investor guidelines. Must be proficient with computers with Basic to Intermediate computer skills in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and Outlook are required. Encompass 360 experience preferred. Must demonstrate knowledge of the Industry in terms of laws and regulations, including the Bank Secrecy Act and Graham Leach Bliley Act.
Essential Duties and Accountabilities
New Account Experience preferred. Teller work. Must enjoy working with the public.
To provide professional delivery of all primary deposit and withdrawal services to clients at the Bank's locations, to include all teller functions and opening of new checking, savings, certificates of deposit, retirement and ODP accounts. To ensure that applicable banking laws and regulations, along with bank policy and procedures are being followed.
