Q - What if I forgot my ID or Password?
A - Forgot your ID or Password? Please call toll free at 1-800-BNC-BANK (1-800-262-2265) to get re-activated or email to OnlineBankingSupport@bncbank.com We will be happy to assist you.
Q - Can I transfer funds between my BNC National Bank Accounts?
A - Yes, you can transfer funds between any of your BNC accounts that you have linked to your Online Banking.
Q - How much does Online Banking cost?
A - Online Banking is free.
Q - Can I have Online Banking without Cash Management?
A - Yes, Cash Management is a separate feature available for business customers. Please call 1-800-BNC-BANK (1-800-262-2265) for more information.
Q - Is Online Banking secure?
A- Yes, BNC National Bank has implemented nationally recognized, sophisticated networking architecture consisting of data encryption throughout the transmission to prevent unauthorized access or interception. You will notice a lock symbol in the lower right hand corner of your browser window which signifies the security id.
Q - Why am I receiving an error message when submitting my online application?
A - In some cases the criteria you are submitting does not match the information we have on file. If you are having trouble submitting your application, click here to submit an alternate personal banking application or business banking application. Or, call us at 1-800-BNC-BANK (1-800-262-2265) to talk to an Online Banking Specialist.
Q - What software or hardware do I need to use Online Banking?
A - To use Online Banking, you simply need a computer that can access the Internet. Be sure your Internet browser is the latest version... www.whatbrowser.org
Q - Can I get copies of my checks or statements?
A - Yes! Through Online Banking you are able to print copies of checks and statements. (Check images are available same day they clear.)
Q - Can I access Online Banking from any computer?
A - Yes, because there is no software to download, you can access Online Banking through any computer with Internet access.
Q - Are my transactions immediately posted on Online Banking?
A - Yes, transactions are posted "real time". However, transfers made after 8pm CST, are posted as next day. Please observe the following cutoff times on regular business days:
8:00pm CST for Transfers
4:00pm CST for ACH
2:30pm CST for Wires

Q - How can I add accounts to my Online Banking after the initial setup?
A - Fill out an Online "Add Accounts Request" or contact our Online Banking Specialist at 1-800-BNC-BANK (1-800-262-2265).
Q - Is there a fee for transferring between accounts at BNC?
A - There is NO fee for this service.
Q - Can I download to Microsoft Money, Quicken or a similar program?
A - Yes, you can download to Microsoft Money, Quicken and Spreadsheets. There is NO fee for this service. Please contact our Online Banking Specialist for more details at 1-800-BNC-BANK (1-800-262-2265).
Q - Can I change my Online Banking ID and/or Password?
A - Yes, once you log on for the first time, you will be prompted to change your Password #. Once you have done that and accessed your BNC accounts, you may change your Online Banking ID and Password at anytime under the MY OPTIONS tab.
Q - How secure is my information I use online?
A - Your account information as well as applications and contact forms are encrypted from the beginning to the end of the process. You will notice a lock symbol in the lower right hand corner of your browser window, which signifies the security ID.
Q - Is any of my information stored on my local computer for others to view?
A - Customer data is not stored on your local drive, the data remains on the banks host system at all times.
Q - What is encryption and what level do I need?
A - Encryption rewrites the code in a way that can be decoded later with the right key. Encryption employs a mathematical process for the key, which is made up of a certain number of bits (ie..40-bit, 128-bit). The higher the number of bits, the better the encryption. BNC's encryption is set for 128-bit. All communication from you to the system and from the system to you is encrypted using a maximum of 128 bits.

Q - How many days should I allow to ensure my bill pay items arrive at the payee company?
A - Please allow approximately 5-7 business days mailing time for check payments and 2-3 business days for electronic payments.
