Helpful Instructions concerning Debit/ATM cards and PINS

How do I activate my debit/ATM card?

You can activate your debit card by doing one of the following:

  1. Make a PIN-based purchase using the PIN mailed to you by the bank
  2. Perform a balance inquiry at any bank’s ATM using the PIN mailed to you by the bank (HSA customers, please select “checking account inquiry”) or
  3. Log into your Online Banking Account and activate the card under the Options Tab


How do I order a new PIN for my debit card?

Call your local branch or 1-800-BNC-BANK to order a new PIN for your debit card.


How do I change my debit card PIN?

After you have made one PIN-based purchase using the PIN mailed to you by the bank, you can change your PIN by calling the toll-free number listed on your PIN letter.  You will then enter the special code listed on the PIN letter.  You new PIN will be active immediately.

If you no longer have the PIN letter mailed to you by the bank, you will need to call your local branch or 1-800-BNC-BANK to order a new PIN.
