Signing Up For BNC's eStatements Is As Easy As 1 - 2 - 3!


Sign up for BNC's eStatements and receive a free BNC "Oops! Card".

Stuff happens-Oops! Card covers unexpected overdraft or stop payment fee.

  1. Login to your WealthManager Online Banking.

  2. Click on “Options” and then “Documents” to enable eStatements.

  3. You will receive an email confirming your enrollmentClick on the link contained in the email to verify email address and sign into online banking one more time to complete the enrollment. 

 

Introducing Electronic Statements, an option for all BNC National Bank online Customers.           

 

eStatements is a paperless delivery notification system for customer statements, eliminating the actual printing and mailing of paper statements. After a customer’s statement is generated, they will receive an email notifying them that they statement is now available through their online banking.  By clicking on the link provided in the email, the customer will open up their online banking home page, where they will be prompted to log in.  After logging in, the current statement will automatically pop up for review, or printing.  The statement will also be available for the next 14 months through the clients online banking account.

 

How does it work?

 

Customers sign up by going to their online banking ‘Options’ tab, and click on Document. Check the ‘Enable E-Documents’ box for each account they wish to receive eStatements for and the system will automatically generate a response email confirming their registration.

 

All eStatements will be cut in the cycle #60 (first Friday of the month). Our Online Banking specialist will change the customer’s statements to cut during this cycle once she receives confirmation that a customers has signed up for eStatements.  (Note- this is necessary since JH will NOT be printing that statement cycle, if the customer’s statement cuts a different cycle the customer’s statement would still be cut, defeating the cost savings part of this program)

 

Our Online banking specialist will send a letter to the customer, confirming their decision to sign up for this service.  The letter will also include a free “BNC OOPS Card”, a thank you for using this service.  The online banking specialist will complete the file maintenance that will link the oops card to the primary account holder’s primary checking account (changing the option for the oops card to a yes).

 

Customers will automatically receive an email notifying them when their statements are ready for viewing/printing.  The email will contain a link that will open up the customer’s online banking accounts.  When customers log in, they will automatically be brought to statement page, where they can view, download or print their statements. Customers can view or print their statements up to one year after they are created (our history goes back up to 14 months, depending on when they signed up for online banking).   These statements DO NOT include copies of the check images from that statement.  If a customer wants to view their images they need to view them through their online banking transaction lists.
