Seven Ways to Keep Your PIN Safe
1) After entering your initial PIN (Personal Identification Number) issued by BNC, you should change your PIN number.
2) Avoid selecting an obvious PIN such as date of birth, phone numbers, addresses, or names of kids or pets. It's too easy for people to guess these passwords or PINs.
3) You should choose a PIN or passwords that has a combination of numbers and letters.
4) Change your PIN or password on a regular 60 or 90 day basis. You can change your PIN through the administration menu from Online Banking.
5) Never share your PIN or password with anyone.
6) Avoid using the same PIN or password for a variety of accounts. For example, you should choose separate passwords or PINs for your e-mail account and you Online Banking account.
7) If you write down your PIN or password, remember to keep it in a secure location.
