We look forward to serving our customers and to providing up-to-date information to the investment community.  In that light, we provide the following answers to frequently asked questions (FAQs).

How secure is my information I use online?

Your account information as well as applications and contact forms are encrypted from the beginning to the end of the process.  You will notice a lock symbol in the lower right hand corner of your browser window which signifies the security id.

Is any of my information stored on my local computer for others to view?

Customer data is not stored on your local drive, the data remains on the banks host system at all times.

What is encryption and what level do I need?

Encryption rewrites the code in a way in that can be decoded later with the right key.  Encryption employs a mathematical process for the key which is made up of a certain number of bits (ie..40-bit, 128-bit). The higher number of bits, the better the encryption.  BNC's Online Banking encryption is set for 128-bit. All communication from you to the Online Banking system and from the system to you is encrypted using a maximum of 128 bits.

What if I forget my PIN?
